Northern artist Natalie Findlay and her band have announced their first single of the year ‘Wolfback’, out April 20th on MINT. ‘Wolfback’ is another catchy and rowdy track brought to life by Natalie’s unique, edgy vocal. The song maps the turbulence surrounding sex and relationships. “The wolf is a metaphor for those feelings”, says Natalie “the inevitable demise of a relationship”.
The accompanying video, available to view here, contrasts a surreal pop music video with the hazy atmosphere of a divey karaoke bar, with Natalie inhabiting both worlds simultaneously.
Following sold out shows at both London’s Old Blue Last and Manchester’s Kraak back in December, the band are returning to the stage for two shows in April, at London’s Oslo and Manchester’s Gorilla.

The release of ‘Wolfback’ follows debut tracks ‘Off & On’ and ‘Greasy Love’, both XFM and 6Music mainstays, as well as ‘Electric Bones’, an infectious track which went up online to critical acclaim back in February, as well as being made XFM’s ‘Shock Of The New’. Having already started 2015 with a bang, it’s set to be an exciting year for Natalie and the band.
