Fire Records celebrates its thirty three and a third year in the only way we know how with some incredible live shows across London this spring.
Arriving at an important time in the label’s history the anniversary kicks off with Wreckless Eric following three sell out shows in Stoke Newington old church, Howe Gelb heads back to Café Oto with his piano trio as do Half Japanese (who have a limited number of European live dates) and Evan Dando revisits ‘Baby I’m Bored’ for a special show at Scala.
All in the heart of the capital, Jane Weaver comes armed with her crew of Mancunian drum-lords and psychedelic axe-men for the ‘Modern Kosmology’ release show, ESG play their only UK live date this year in Brixton and The Bevis Frond headline Fire’s new festival ‘This Corner Of England’ in honour of the band’s 30th anniversary which includes a Fire Records 33.3 exhibition hosted by ArtVinyl.
