Five Years of Kscope: Two Nights at The Garage, London
Kscope reaches its 5th anniversary this year and to celebrate the label are hosting two special evenings at The Garage in London. There will be four bands from the label’s roster playing on each night and the first to be announced are Amplifier, on Wednesday July 24th, followed by Anathema on Thursday 25th.
The initial batch of tickets for the gigs goes on sale on Wednesday 1st May. There will also a limited number of two-day tickets available.
The remaining acts will be announced over the next few weeks. To ensure that fans of all acts who are playing get the chance to attend the label shall be staggering the release of tickets to coincide with the artist announcements, so if you miss out this time please keep an eye out for further news and ticket releases.
Kscope launched in 2008 with new albums from its first signings The Pineapple Thief and No-Man. New albums have since followed from the legendary likes of Anathema, Porcupine Tree keyboard player Richard Barbieri with Steve Hogarth plus acclaimed releases from North Atlantic Oscillation, Lunatic Soul, Mothlite, Ulver, Gazpacho & Engineers.
In addition to these releases the Kscope catalogue also now contains a series of deluxe reissues of classic albums from Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief, Blackfield and No-Man.
2013 new releases include Steven Wilson, Amplifier, Katatonia, Bruce Soord with Jonas Renkse, Blackfield, Henry Fool, Nosound and Leafblade.
