Folks – Skull & Bones (Ignition Records)

Folks spent the start of this year putting the final touches to their new album. The Manchester band supported Noel Gallagher at Edinburgh Castle and played Glasgow the following night, supporting The Merrylees. They have also toured with Miles Kane.

This debut single ‘Skull & Bones’ is released on July 15th and will be available in digital format from iTunes & all good digital stores. Cover image designed by Brock Lefferts.
This single has twists and turns of instruments rolling in and out of the3.33 minutes and it will give your ears and brain some fun. This track has a great beat with a great rhythm and therefore is definitely a great tune. Very much looking forward to the album. 8/10

Their debut album ‘I See Cathedrals’ features 12 tracks of timeless tracks and illustrates how Folks transcend their influences to produce their own distinctive vision of classic song writing with a trace of psychedelia, nodding to the Beetles here and Beach Boys there, but modern, made new. This album is released October 12th on Ignition records.
