It is easy to forget that less than 18 months ago Fontaines D.C. were yet to even release their debut album. In the here and now, masterfully captured once again by the unique production talent of Speedy Wunderground’s Dan Carey, the band’s second record A Hero’s Death arrives heralded as something of a masterpiece. On the heels of their breakthrough debut album Dogrel, and following the release of lead tracks “A Hero’s Death”, “I Don’t Belong” and “Televised Mind”, A Hero’s Death’s innovative and bruising rush of bold and bewitching song writing is already being fervently devoured by fans. The band are currently sitting at #1 in the UK midweek album chart, seeing them go head to head with Taylor Swift’s Folklore which currently sits at #2.Buy / stream A Hero’s Death HERE.
On what under normal circumstances may be good cause for a victory lap of the UK’s live music venues, last night the band instead broadcast online “A Night At Montrose, Dublin” – a first-ever performance of A Hero’s Death front to back in its entirety.

In the absence of live music possibilities for the band in 2020, Fontaines D.C. have also announced a run of Spring 2021 UK tour dates, including a show at London’s Alexandra Palace on 27th May – their biggest UK headline show to date. Routing is as follows.
