Footsteps Festival starts next week in London

Footsteps Festival returns to London next week for five days of shows celebrating the city’s grassroots music venues, with a final wave of artists now announced ahead of the festival opening on Monday 18 May.

Taking place across venues including The Garage, Moth Club, The Windmill, Oslo, The George Tavern and Paper Dress Vintage, Footsteps brings together emerging artists, cult favourites and international touring acts for a city-wide programme rooted in independent music culture and the spaces that sustain it.

New additions to the lineup include London-based songwriter Mel Blue, who joins the festival for a special show at Paper Dress Vintage on Friday 22 May, alongside a final run of newly announced support artists across the week.

Shows from Office Dog, Ratboys and both performances from Milo Korbenski have now sold out ahead of the festival starting, with limited tickets remaining for Meryl Streek, Anamanaguchi and Warmduscher and more.

Now in its second year, Footsteps continues to spotlight the grassroots venues and independent communities that remain vital to London’s music ecosystem, pairing emerging artists with beloved spaces across the capital for a week of intimate live performances.

Alongside headline appearances from artists including Warmduscher, Ratboys, Sarah Blasko, Meryl Streek, A Certain Ratio, Girl Scout and Anamanaguchi, the festival’s supports (listed below) further reinforce its focus on discovery and emerging talent.
