DEBUT EP – ‘WILDER’ RELEASED ON BLASTFIRSTPETITE – JUNE 2013
Dublin based electronic duo, Forrests, play their first London show as special guests of MØ at Cargo on the 14th of May in advance of the release of their debut EP on blastfirstpetite in June 2013.
The ‘Wilder’ EP features six tracks of beta-unblocking electronic music with post-rock rushes and sees the band use synthesizers, guitars and machines, alongside field recordings from empty rooms, a shipping container, and off-season holiday homes to great effect.
The Forrests line up of Paul O’Reilly and Owen O’Mahony only played their first live shows in Ireland late last year, but have already built a reputation for their unique performances, which has seen them compared to the likes of Pantha du Prince, Blondes and Fuck Buttons, with whom they play at the Body & Soul Festival in June.
