Frameworks and The Saddest Landscape, today announce a European tour together, taking in live dates in the UK, France, Belgium and Germany. Both signed to widely acclaimed US independent label Topshelf Records, the bands will be joined on several dates by the Mannheim five-piece The Tidal Sleep.
Long-awaited in these parts, this will be Frameworks’ first time overseas, and follows the release of their critically acclaimed debut full length “Loom” in April. Recorded by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor, Comadre) in his Atomic Garden Studios in San Francisco, the record sees Frameworks sprawling into more experimental territory. On Loom, Frameworks expand beyond their post-hardcore roots to create a record which is brightly evocative, emotional, overwhelmingly gorgeous and one that sees the band genre-bending to carve out space for what they manage to create in Loom’s 11 tracks.
Formed in Gainesville in 2011, the band first gained notice with their early 2013 “Small Victories” EP on 13th Floor Records. A split release with Kittyhawk, Prawn and Droughts later that year drew more attention to the band who somehow manage to create music that exists where Explosions in the Sky and Fucked Up meet.
Incendiary screamo act The Saddest Landscape are veterans of the hardcore scene, having put out over 25 releases since their inception in 2002. These have included splits with scene luminaries such as Funeral Diner and label-mates Pianos Become The Teeth. These will be the band’s first European dates since 2011.

“Gainesvile, Florida’s Frameworks aren’t on your radar. If you’re into stuff like Slint and Sincebyman, well, they should be on your radar… Loom sounds massive” –Decibel
