Framing Hanley announce new single to coincide with UK tour – TWISTED HALOS (out 24/10)
SINGLE ‘TWISTED HALOS’ OUT 24TH OCTOBER
& UK HEADLINE TOUR
‘a dark and moody album of epic proportions’ – Rock Sound
’13 tracks of infectious emo-rock’ – Kerrang!
Nashville, TN based four piece Framing Hanley are set to release the single Twisted Halos on October 24th; the first date of their UK tour. The song is taken from their current album The Sum Of Who We Are.
Nixon (vocals) explains the track: “We pack this valuable tool that’s an endless source of information/knowledge in our pockets in the form of a cell phone, and use it for the dumbest things. Instead of staying informed about the world in which we live, we’d rather post pictures of our food and ignore the reality of what’s going on out there…until it’s too late. It’s scary. Twisted Halos is a song that is in some ways a call to action. Let’s talk about it, instead of ignoring it. Let’s talk about it so others HAVE to hear about it. We can’t change the terrible things about our world unless we talk about it and stay informed. In the end, it’s our fault if we don’t.“

Framing Hanley are set to return to the UK for a headline tour in October, and as Nixon says: ‘The reception for our band in the UK is second to none…and I think for rock n roll in general. Anytime we leave there to go back home, we are already talking about the next chance to go back. With last fall’s tour being cut short because of an illness in The Blackout, this trip back to the UK is long overdue. We’ve been in the studio for 2 1/2 years working on The Sum of Who We Are and the reward for us is being able to play these songs live. It’s been too long, and if you come to any shows on this tour you can expect an energy in the room to be unlike any of a previous Framing Hanley show. We’re ready…are you?’
