FVK Announce Miss Vincent & Vukovi As Support For March 2016 UK Headline Tour
FVK ANNOUNCE MISS VINCENT & VUKOVI AS SUPPORT FOR MARCH UK HEADLINE TOUR
“The community around FVK is a demonstration of music at its most powerful, when fans are swallowed whole by the
alternate universe a band or artist can create” – VICE
“FVK deliver an honest, captivating collection that will speak to a broader audience while satisfying their faithful. If you
haven’t been paying attention, it would be wise to start now. (4.5/5)” – Alternative Press
“With the Grandomina concept now complete, the band can now focus on rawer real-life grievances… It’s the songwriting
that benefits most from this redefinition. A regeneration worth monitoring. (KKKK)” – Kerrang!
After a hugely successful 2015, FVK catapult into the New Year at full throttle, completing the line-up for their March UK headline run. Support will come from south East punks MISS VINCENT and Scottish pop rock 4-piece VUKOVI. The BRUISES TOUR will land at Newcastle, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Liverpool, Cardiff, Southampton and Norwich.
“We feel strongly in FVK that good music should be
championed, and Vukovi and Miss Vincent are both
brilliant bands with great songs. It all contributes to the
most important thing – that our fans see a killer show,
from the moment doors open to the last note of our final
song.” – Kier Kemp, Co-Singer
Currently gearing up to join Escape the Fate on a mammoth 17-date UK & European tour at the end of January, this year is shaping up to be FVK’s biggest yet with further live dates to be announced and their own comic book THE VIGILANTE due son.
Last year’s mini-album BRUISES (KKKK – KERRANG!, 8/10 – BIG CHEESE, 7/10 – ROCK SOUND, 4.5/5 – ALTERNATIVE PRESS) was a game-changer, marking a change in direction for the dark pop 5-piece as they moved away from the Grandomina concept on previous albums Militia of the Lost and Unbreakable Hearts. The record landed the band widespread praise, charting at #14 in the UK Rock Album Chart.
Despite the music undergoing a transition co-singer Laurence Beveridge continues to enhance the Grandomina experience that FVK fans know and love through novels, releasing the third book in his series – Unbreakable Hearts last month.
Fast emerging as an unstoppable live force in British rock, FVK are a rarity that goes beyond the music. Unafraid to stand out, to be different, to have their own identity, they’re in it for the long-haul, growing to be pioneers for a new and exciting generation of rock fans.
