Emmanuel Jal has won worldwide acclaim for his unique style of Hip Hop with its message of peace and reconciliation born out of his experiences as a child soldier in Southern Sudan. We Want Peace is the first single released from the album as part of a campaign of the same name spearheaded by Emmanuel and supported by A-list artists and leading figures from diverse fields. The music video which features Peter Gabriel, Alicia Keys, George Clooney, Richard Branson, President Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan and many more, will be re-released in June with additional appearances from Darryl "DMC" McDaniels (RUN DMC) and members of Dispatch, Das Racist, OAR.
