All girl three-piece IDestroy – ‘Vanity Loves Me’ video

Girl three-piece punk band IDestroy who have just revealed the video for debut single ‘Vanity Loves Me’ –  you can see it here. The video is a tongue in cheek testament to their DIY approach and captures the band’s more humorous side whilst showing their punk rock attitude with the infectiously bratty track.

Hailing from Bristol and mixing teenage rock’n’roll rebellion with riot grrrl sensibilities, bubblegum pop melodies and a whole heap of sneering, yet charming attitude. IDestory will be releasing their debut EP, ‘Vanity Loves Me’ on February 26th and I’d love to know your thoughts on the band and if you’d consider them for any coverage.

Perfectly formed at two minutes and eighteen seconds, the title track is a sizzling statement of intent. With nods to riot grrrl bands such as Sleater-Kinney and Bratmobile and even elements if Iggy Pop, but with the pop sensibilities designed for daytime radio.

Since forming earlier in the year, the youthful trio have built up a loyal following in their hometown, playing regularly in small but packed-out venues, and creating a genuine buzz around their local scene. The leather-clad, pop-punkers have not been afraid to take their catchy grrrl power to bigger stages either, playing the likes of Anfi Rock Sound festival in Spain and supporting Cherie Currie (The Runaways) at Bristol Bierkeller.

They’re playing a number of dates over the next few months and it would be great to know your thoughts and if you’d be interested in coming to check the band out.
