Gorgon City’s ‘Go All Night’ featuring Jennifer Hudson is the new single to be taken from the new “pop-house powerhouse” duo’s recent Top 10 album ‘Sirens’.
The huge, classic piano house track is co-written by Kiesza and features the brilliant artist and actress Jennifer Hudson who brings the song fully to life with a deft delivery of her impeccable vocals. It takes all things Gorgon City up a gear and confirms their status as the breakthrough dance duo of 2014 – with their impact globally showing no signs of slowing down for 2015 just yet.
‘Go All Night’ first aired as a Hottest Record In The World as part of Zane making ‘Sirens’ his album of the week prior to its release on October 6th. The reaction to the song was instant with plays from Huw, Fearne and Mistajam following suit with spot plays popping up all over the station regularly since, as well as sessions for Zane airing and a Live Lounge for Fearne locked in for December. With remixes to come from Wilkinson, Drew Hill, Aquilo and Illyus & Barrientos, Go All Night is already climbing fast in iTunes and Shazam Top 200 – 10 weeks out from impact.

On making the record, Matt & Kye said:
“We met Kiesza backstage when we were supporting Rudimental at Brixton Academy back in Feb. As soon as we finished the song we knew it needed a classic diva vocal and after working with Jennifer Hudson on her album, we knew she would kill it.  She went on to record a classic 90s Chicago house vocal vibe, which we instantly fell in love with.”
Entering the UK album charts at number 10 last week (with the deluxe and standard versions hitting the number 1 & 2 spot in the iTunes dance chart) ‘Sirens’ is the album that keeps on giving with ‘Go All Night’ looking set to surpass even the successes of Gorgon City’s previous chart bothering singles – of which they’ve sold close to a million combined.  You can look back at the performance of their previous single Ready For Your Love from their recent appearance on Later with Jools Holland HERE.
#FlightDecks
This week also finds Gorgon City taking part in the first-ever live streamed performance 30,000 feet above the Atlantic Ocean as part of Virgin Atlantic’s #FlightDecks event on October 23 where they will go back-to-back with Black Butter label mates Rudimental on Virgin’s inaugural flight of its new 787 aircraft from London to Atlanta. The one-time-only DJ sets will be available to hear via SoundCloud immediately following.
