At the tail end of 2019, Grace Carter shared her latest single ‘Amnesia’. Today, to kick of 2020 in powerful style, she’s pleased to share the video. Watch HERE.

Showcasing another slice of her new-found resilience and musical direction, ‘Amnesia’ is an upbeat, punchy song that explores forgiveness and new beginnings in love and life; a perfect song to embrace as we enter a new year and new decade. The video, directed by James Slater, sees Grace defiant and standing tall against the difficulties human relationships can throw at us. A bold step into a new future, complete with her smashing up regular household items that burst into colour displaying vibrant life within.

“Amnesia is a forgiveness anthem. A lot of my songs have been about my childhood and rejection I dealt with growing up. Amnesia was written a few months ago the day after I reunited with my father. I felt lost, I had dealt with my emotions through songwriting for years but my situation remained the same. It was this day that I felt like I found clarity. Through separation I built people up to heights they could never reach therefore I was always going to be let down. Amnesia is me accepting the past and the fact everyone makes human mistakes and we’re all growing. Amnesia is about me choosing to move on.”

After supporting Lewis Capaldi on his huge UK tour to close 2019, Grace is excited to embark on her own biggest headline tour to date across the UK & EU for spring 2020. Tickets are on sale now and included a huge show at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire on March 25^th.
