Last week Grimes shared the video for ‘REALiTi (Demo)’, a track originally recorded in 2013 and shared to coincide with the two year anniversary of her first tour of Asia.
Produced and directed by Claire, the footage was shot by her brother Mac Boucher, and has been released “as a special thank you to everyone in Singapore, KL, Manila, Jakarta, HK, Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Seoul, Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo who came out to the shows.” You can watch the video here, or in the player below. You can also listen to ‘REALiTi’ on Spotify and other streaming platforms here.
Additionally, last night saw the premiere of a new track by Grimes and Bleachers called ‘Entropy’, co-written by the pair exclusively for HBO show Girls. It is now available on digital services – Spotify | YouTube. While the track is not an official single from either of the artists’ forthcoming projects, both were keen to work together after previously collaborating on Bleachers’ ‘Take Me Away’: “I’m very lucky to have a friend as talented as Jack. He really pushed me out of my comfort zone with this song and I feel very proud of our work. It was my first attempt at writing something with a country vibe”.
