NEW YORK, NY (March 15, 2024) –  Today, buzzing pop singer-songwriter HaidenHenderson serves up a brand new single entitled “hell of a good time” out now via LAVA/Republic Records.Listen to “hell of a good time” HERE. Watch the lyric video HERE.

The highly anticipated song, “hell of a good time,” resonated with fans last month, when Haiden posted this video, recorded on the streets of New York. Somehow, having heard the teaser just days before his first two sold out headline shows in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, fans knew every word. Boasting over 30,000 pre-saves, the song, co-produced by Lauren Christy(Avril Lavigne, Dua Lipa) and Midi Jones (Demi Lovato, Alessia Cara), features a shuffle beat and mesmerizing falsetto vocals, making it the ultimate track to listen to while getting ready for a night out.

About “hell of a good time,” he commented, “The night before writing this, I went to a rock concert and was jealous of how massive their opening song sounded. I came into the studio desperate for something that put the two sides of my world together: pop vocals/melodies with a rock and roll backbone.”

This single also marks the beginning of Haiden’s full artist project, Haiden Henderson. He explains this change as a planned evolution of his artistry, “I got sucked into this world when the 15th song I ever wrote went viral and since then I’ve been experimenting with the kind of music that feels the most like me. I’m adding my last name as a way to tell everyone that I found it.”

At the top of the year, Haiden released his sophomore EP, Choke on My Heart, led by racehorse tracks “Fresh Blood” and “Pretty Little Addict”. Listen HERE. Intended to dive deeper into his vulnerabilities, the project received high praise from publications like Sweety High and Earmilk, with Rolling Stone notably including the third single, “killed the kid”, in its ‘Songs You Need To Know’ playlist.

Before his signing with LAVA/Republic Records, Haiden already captured online audiences with his music. In 2022, he sparked a buzz on social media by releasing a teaser for, “Can’t Hurt Me,” which quickly went viral with over 10 million views. On its heels, his single “Sorry To Your Next Ex” achieved over 20 million global streams, propelling his debut EP, Good Grief!,to an impressive milestone, surpassing 50 million streams worldwide to date.

Haiden has quietly emerged as a phenomenon on his own terms. His arresting voice, open-hearted lyricism, and raw unpredictable soundscapes anchor an emotionally charged and engaging vision on all of his music. About Haiden Henderson
Haiden Henderson’s music always seems to capture those deep cutting truths that you haven’t been able to find words for and wrap them in candy-coated melodies. As a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, he makes sense of the confusion and chaos that comes with being in your 20s in the 21st century. His honest experiences and unfiltered emotions scrape across alternative soundscapes, allowing his pop vocals and melodies to breathe as much as they bleed. Raised in Northern California by a single mother, Haiden moved around a lot, leading him to pick up various hobbies as a way to make friends and garner attention. Having attended a math and science high school, Haiden first started his college career in Aerospace Engineering but slowly realized his heart was in music. Junior year, he transferred to the USC Thornton School of Music, living out of his car and working part time until he could afford an apartment. After a childhood hand condition forced him to take a break from guitar, Haiden fell into songwriting. Sharing his songs online, Haiden quickly gained an audience. In 2022, an acoustic teaser of his song “Can’t Hurt Me”, amassed nearly 10 million views paving the way for viral moments to come. On its heels, “Sorry To Your Next Ex” exploded to the tune of 20 million global streams, propelling his debut EP, Good Grief! to surpass 50 million global streams to date. Earmilk professed, “‘Sorry To Your Next Ex’ will quickly place Haiden as the voice of a generation.” He only increased momentum in 2023, with his sophomore EP, ‘Choke on My Heart” consisting of viral hits “Fresh Blood” and “Pretty Little Addict” leading him to sign with LAVA/Republic Records. Now in 2024, Haiden has launched his full project, ‘Haiden Henderson’, recently sold out LA/NYC headline shows, and is gearing up to release a slew of songs in a style he calls, ‘one man boy band’.
