Health&Beauty release a feature-length video for album track “Yr Wives”.

To celebrate the release last Friday of their seventh full-length record, Shame Engine / Blood Pleasure, Health&Beauty have just released a feature-length video for album track “Yr Wives”.

Starting with the album version of the song, the video adds a two hour mantra / drone section performance, recorded live at Jamdek Studios in Chicago by Brian, who was joined by Maria Jacobson (vocals), Ben Boye (piano) and Bill Satek (synth).Together they take the song’s final melodies and vocal refrain of “minaressi / no me va, no me va” and transform it into a beautiful, hypnotic, two hour long drone piece. And as the drone plays on Tim Breen’s visuals are warped and stretched by Nick Ciontea (who has previously provided live visuals for Cave and Bitchin’ Bajas, amongst others) – creating an altogether very trippy experience. DIVE IN HERE!
