BrooklynVegan is premiering “Cauterize” a shimmering cut of dreamy alternative that showcases Hundredth‘s continued growth.
Powered by a reverb-drenched guitar lead and frontman Chadwick Johnson’s ethereal vocals “Cauterize” manages to combine undeniable hooks with atmosphere to spare–a combination of mood and melody that’s becoming the band’s speciality. BrooklynVegan compared the song to “…the atmospheric guitar heroism of early U2 or The Cure” and praised it saying, “if that sounds up your alley, you’ll probably agree that Hundredth do a fine job at this sort of thing.”

Hundredth‘s singles series is the first taste of brand new music from the band since their 2017 full-length, RARE, which propelled them into a bold new direction.
