Stimulator Jones, aka Virginia-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, and songwriter Sam Lunsford, shares new video for “Give My All” today off his debut album Exotic Worlds and Masterful Treasures.
Stimulator Jones’ musicality is what shines the brightest on his debut effort, he’s taught himself everything from guitar to banjo to fiddle and even sitar. And while hard to deny his classic 80s and 90s R&B inspirations, like Rick James, Raydio, or The S.O.S Band, all of Sam’s songs take on their own distinct, heady feel.
Directed by Patrick Mattes, the “Give My All” video was shot on 16mm film in the picturesque mountains and beaches outside Los Angeles. Says Sam, “”Give My All’ was built around a bass line that came to me in a dream, and the video was meant to capture the multi-faceted qualities of my music as well as of nature itself.”
Stimulator Jones will hit the road this October with Stones Throw labelmates Kiefer, Jerry Paper and Prophet. Find all confirmed dates below.
