Inca babies play Chennai India at Saarang Festival 2015

UK post-punk veterans Inca Babies will be playing their first ever gig in India this month, at Chennai’s Saarang festival on January 10th. The promoters were so taken by the band’s activity on YouTube that they had to book them and fly them over for the Saarang Music festival 2015.
The Manchester trio released a new album The Stereo Plan in last year. They originally formed in the 1980s and released 4 albums and recorded four John Peel sessions for the BBC before splitting in 1988. They reformed in 2007 and have since recorded three new Albums, “Death Message Blues”, “Deep Dark Blue” and “The Stereo Plan”; collectively the Death blues Trilogy.
The present line-up is original singer/ guitarist / songwriter Harry Stafford, Vince Hunt, bass player with fellow John Peel favourites A Witness, and Goldblade drummer Rob Haynes.
