INDIGO – ‘Moving On’ Single & Video

“Moving On” by INDIGO will be released 27th of November 2015

Indigo are a four piece band out of the South West of Western Australia. The current line up consists of Christopher Kinna on lead vocals & guitar, Dylan Keirnan on guitar/backing vocals, David Williams on bass guitar/backing vocals and Joshua Beaumont on drums.
Together, the four boys produce a sound that reflects the good summer vibes that we all know and love. This soft rock/indie/alternative outfit easily translates from CD to an electric live performance that will have you dancing all night, singing along to their catchy tunes.
The Indigo boys have just finished the recording of their next single “Moving On” and it’s due to be released November 2015 along with an official film clip. ‘Moving On’ is a feel good song written about getting over the hard times and finding balance. Accompanied by a touching film clip this song is considered by the band as their best work yet.
“I started writing ‘Moving On’ around 2013 after being unemployed for a few years, at a time where I solely depended on music. It was in summer I think, I was sitting at a mate’s with a Roland Juno I had just purchased playing around with chords I started coming up with the structure of the song a few days later I wrote the words jamming on my acoustic guitar it was the easiest song I had ever wrote the words just flowed straight from my mouth it felt very effortless I think because of the emotional detachment I felt from myself feeling like I was stuck and needed the motivation to move on from all the negativity that overwhelmed me. The first lyrics “I’ve been wondering lately can somebody save me can somebody ring the bell” refers to the idea of somebody being buried alive without being able to be saved like the old term “saved by the bell” or a “dead ringer” that have origins where they found coffins that had scratch marks on them after being dug up so there solution was to burry people with a string attached to there finger that lead to a bell. Just a metaphorical reference that I thought connected me to the emotion I felt. But the song is equally positive as it is negative it’s about balance and transformation.” – Christopher Kinna (Lead Singer)
Moving On’ is the new single off an upcoming EP that Indigo is currently working on, look for it to be released in early 2016!
