Introducing: ATRIP returns with new single ‘Langur’

After establishing himself as one of the UK’s most exciting electronic producers with a run of high-impact, dancefloor-focused releases, ATRIP joins the Toast roster with ‘Langur’, a hypnotic new single that signals the beginning of a new chapter while building on the club-focused world he has been developing through projects including his acclaimed KLUBPARTEI EP.

Created during a rare break from months of touring, ‘Langur’ emerged while ATRIP was staying in a wildlife protection reserve on the south coast of Vietnam, completely surrounded by tropical jungle. Removed from the intensity of the clubs and festivals that had shaped much of his previous work, the experience gave him the space to consider where he wanted to take his music next, while ultimately staying rooted in the dancefloor instinct that has always been at the heart of his work.

ATRIP explains: “‘Langur’ came together on my first break from touring for months. Surrounded by nothing but jungle and langur apes in a wildlife protection reserve on the south coast of Vietnam, I had a lot of space to define how I wanted to move forward in 2026. With the residue of countless festivals and nightclubs still lingering on my creative core, I wanted to make something that appeals to the dancefloor, without ridding itself of the possibility of a quiet living room listen. There is a hypnotic and perhaps slightly impatient sense of longing in this record I resonate with a lot.”

‘Langur’ marks the first step into this next era, retaining the kinetic energy and club functionality that has become synonymous with ATRIP while introducing a more nuanced and expansive approach to his production. It follows the world established through his TANZPARTEI series, an ongoing project that cemented his reputation for energetic, genre-blurring electronic music.

ATRIP has already earned support from some of the most respected names in electronic music. His KLUBPARTEI EP and recent ‘Sinai Ray’ single, released via Berlin’s influential cult label Live From Earth, was championed by Jamie xx, Solomun, Ben UFO andDaphni, while his wider output has earned recognition from the likes of HAAi, Bonobo, Disclosure, Barry Can’t Swim, DJ Seinfeld and Lil Silva, alongside millions of organic streams and a rapidly expanding international audience.
