Introducing The Radio Nasties – Saving Rock N Roll?

Hail! Hail! Rock and Roll!

It’s all going on for the Radio Nasties, they have just been given a residency at The Hawley Arms in Camden which kicks off this month (November) on alternate Sundays. They have also been invited to take support slots with their beloved Dr Feelgood with more live dates being added as I type, released a brand new video (see link at bottom of this email) for their new single out just in time for Christmas.

Radio Nasties were formed by half-brothers Joey (Bass Guitar) and Benny (Lead Guitar/ Vocals.)

The Radio Nasties

They began by experimenting with blending Joey’s love of 50’s Rock’n’Roll music, like Chuck Berry & Little Richard with Benny’s passion for 70’s Punk and New Wave bands like Sex Pistols & Dr. Feelgood.

With best bud Tommy (Drums) on board, the band set about realizing their goal – To Rock & Roll All Night & Party Every Day.

Things began at a frantic pace, explosive home town shows leading to the band being invited to support the likes of Wilko Johnson, The Jim Jones Revue and The Computers as well as a monthly residency at The Camden Barfly in London.

A single was released through local indie Death Or Glory Records and copies of the Ltd Ed 7” were much sought after and earned high praise (“…The future of British rock ‘n’ roll music!” – ). With their high-octane live performances drawing comparisons with The Hives, Radio Nasties were winning over dance floors everywhere they went.

She’s The One (Death Or Glory) Vinyl release date 13/12/13

The band are now on the verge of releasing a follow up single ‘She’s The One’, hitting the streets on 13/12/13 also on Death Or Glory premièred the video on Halloween to huge acclaim. Check it out here.
