Jagwar Ma are set to release new single ‘Uncertainty’ on March 3^rd, taken from their critically acclaimed, tour-de-force debut album Howlin.

Howlin finished 2013 as one of the years most lauded breakout albums, featuring in end of year lists by the NME, Q, The Fly, DIY, Drowned In Sound, Popmatters and championed by the likes of Mojo, Pitchfork, The Fader and The Quietus among others.
One of the records most infectious tunes and a staunch live favourite, new single ‘Uncertainty’ effortlessly blends oscillating acid bass, a strutting techno backbeat, punchy guitar stabs and classic pop harmonies, building to an ecstatic chorus refrain.
The single is accompanied by a new video directed by Dave Ma (brother of Jono from the band) who has worked with Foals, Forest Swords and Bastille among others. Filmed in the Californian Mojave desert, it channels the tune’s daybreak energy with the band performing to an expansive and increasingly astral backdrop.

A remix by UK house and techno linchpin and frequent band collaborator Ewan Pearson will follow, with others to be announced.

Jagwar Ma return to the UK for a series of headline dates in May following two sold out tours of the UK and US, the latter having seen them featured by the likes of Billboard, Rolling Stone, NPR, KCRW and Yours Truly. Before that the band will perform at the BBC 6Music Festival on Saturday, March 1^st as well as in Coachella in April and a tour of Australia in Jan-Feb.
