(January 10, 2014 – Toronto, ON) – Dublin singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow has just unveiled an extensive North American headlining tour in support of his highly anticipated and critically-acclaimed, sophomore album Post Tropical. The month-long tour, which kicks off in Los Angeles, CA at The Roxy Theatre on March 17, includes 7 Canadian dates in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Waterloo, Toronto and Montreal, plus two performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The Guardian has called his live show “unstoppable” and Consequence of Sound wrote this about his last tour, “I’ve seldom seen a singer command a room with such a subtle whisper.” For full North American tour details see below.

Post Tropical, which drops January 14, 2014 through Dine Alone Records in Canada, is the follow-up to McMorrow’s acclaimed 2011 debut album, Early in the Morning which earned McMorrow a #1 debut, a Jools Holland performance, and platinum certification in Ireland.

Described as “breathtaking” (Vice) and “achingly beautiful” (KCRW), Post Tropical is currently streaming on MTV and CBC and is available to pre-order now. To listen to the album visit: MTV and CBC. To pre-order Post Tropical visit: http://smarturl.it/post-tropical
