Johnny Flynn’s fourth album ‘Sillion’ is out today via Transgressive Records, the album features previously released singles Raising The Dead’, ‘Heart Sunk Hank’ and ‘Wandering Aengus’.

The titles of Flynn’s records have become a talismanic focus for him over the years, and ‘Sillion’ rings out like a bell, converging unlikely forces — friendship, politics, poetry – to capture the album’s colour and mood as a measure of its times. Coinciding with the release of ‘Sillion’; Johnny is to star in the first ever National Geographic scripted series ‘Genius’. The ten-part series will chart how an imaginative yet rebellious patent clerk – who couldn’t get a job as a doctorate – unlocked the mysteries of the atom and the universe. Johnny plays young Einstein in tandem with Golden Globe winner Geoffrey Rush, who plays him in later life. The series has been directed by the legendary Ron Howard and will be aired in the UK 24th April.

Having sold out his forthcoming March UK headline tour and due to popular demand, Johnny Flynn has announced his biggest live show to date, London’s The Roundhouse. Tickets for the 17th October are available now [ Buy tickets here ]
