Jordana shares new single and video for ‘Forgetter’ ahead of her EP, Something To Say, out Friday

Jordana is sharing one last song from Something To Say…, before its release this Friday, July 31st via Grand Jury Music.  An ode to self-reflection and personal growth, ‘Forgetter’ is an indie-pop tune that draws on the more gentle elements of Jordana’s debut LP, Classical Notions Of Happiness. As with all of her new material, the song takes a more lush route to the same emotionally stirring songwriting that ran through her debut LP with the help of rising NYC staple MELVV. Jordana’s lyrics could be misconstrued as morose but the new song is less about regret than reminding oneself of how your actions affect those around you and simply learning, and remembering how, to be better. Accompanied by the beautifully stark black and white animated video directed by Tess Lafia (@_tess_lafia_) and animated by  Lily Lin (@itslily.lin). Speaking to  the new single Jordana says that; “Forgetter is a song about self reflection. It’s about the times I’ve let people down in relationships and the unhealthy ways I’ve coped with my own shortcomings.”

The first installment in Jordana’s two-part EP series, Something To Say, was heralded by the music video for the self-empowerment banger, ‘Big’, which premiered at Pigeons & Planes. The second installment in the series, To You, will follow this fall. Both collections find Jordana embracing a newfound, heavier sound and experimenting in ways she only began to hint at on the new material that found its way onto the repackaged Classical Notions.
