JPEGMAFIA joins the IHC 1NFINITY universe with “The Who,” a newly discovered gem from the same sessions that birthed his 2018 critically acclaimed LP, Veteran. “The Who” is an exercise in playful lyricism over a dreamstate-inducing beat. PEGGY trades playful musings; equally braggadocious and subtly self-deprecating, meanwhile guest vocalist Eyas soothingly sings the merits of pressing pause on her fantasies. The entire track clocks in at a quick 2 minutes and 31 seconds, yet it’s infectious quality demands multiple repeat listens.
The JPEGMAFIA single is exclusively offered up today, April 3rd, via IHC 1NFINITY HERE and a short film (music video) will be released later in the year, which will become part of the connected music video universe HERE.
About “The Who,” JPEGMAFIA says:  “‘The Who’ is one of the last songs I recorded for Veteran. It didn’t end up on the album, but I always wanted to use it in a creative way because I really enjoy the song. There’s an innocence to it that I hope is relatable to people. I made the beat naked.”

IHC 1NFINITY: THE FIRST RECORD LABEL WITH
A SHARED MUSIC VIDEO UNIVERSE

IHEARTCOMIX’ label universe connects all music videos from every artist across one story (similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Over the course of the next couple months it will be expanded with singles and videos every 4-6 weeks from: UK’s Walt Disco and Pan (FKA Aristophanes)“Stop” ft. Will Butler (of Arcade Fire) plus more TBA.
The 1NFINITY saga follows the story of Alex Stone, a twenty-something living in Los Angeles, CA, who discovers a sinister conspiracy by the enigmatic conglomerate N.O.M.A.D.I.C. Corporation. The company is famous for their popular products and powerful influence, however Alex experiences personal tragedy that puts her face-to-face with the reality of their dubious plan that sends her on a quest for justice. Full of absurd characters and musical moments, Alex’s journey leads her down a dark path until she assembles a group of allies to fight back.
THE IHC 1NFINITY UNIVERSE IS HEAVILY INSPIRED BY SCI-FI HORROR EPICS AND TEEN MOVIES OF THE 70S, 80S AND 90S. Influences include: John Carpenter, Dario Argento, Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante, James Cameron and Richard Donner.
