Lo-fi charmer Juan Wauters has shared his new video for “Goo”. The video is an ode to all the great hip hop video from “Make it or Break it” a series distributed on VHS that invited fans to call in and rank their entries by voting “Make it” or “Break it.”
Born in Uruguay and now based in New York, Juan Wauters is best known for his work as guitarist and vocalist in The Beets (New York based lo-fi psych-pop band). His debut album “North American Poetry” came out 4th Feb via Captured Tracks.
About the video Juan had this to say:“Goo is the third production by Matthew Volz for the album N.A.P. by Juan Wauters. Filmed on location (in Manhattan’s Chinatown, Jackson Heights and Maspeth, Queens), the video features Juan and Matthew’s friends, including Amanda Rodi who also performs in the original recording of the song, the Wauters family as well as favorite neighborhood spots and characters.”
