Brooklyn’s folk-revivalist, Jus Post Bellum,  premier their Bugsy Siegel-esque video for “Sharp Was The River Bending” via The Wall Street Journal this afternoon. “Sharp Was The River Bending”  opts to shed some of the lyrical weight of the 19th-century American mediation on war by means of baby faced mobsters and muscle-bound big men brought to life over an overnight shoot using flashbulbs to recreate the “mugshot” feel of the period.  Jus Post Bellum’s singer/guitarist, Geoffrey Wilson elaborates shooting “Sharp Was A River Bending” on The Wall Street Journal’s Speakeasy site (HERE).
