JYNX is a genre. They bring experiential, electro-pop that fuses new wave, rock & classic hip-hop for a futuristic yet nostalgic sound. Signed to Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes) & Kerry Brown’s We Are Hear label, the duo made their Los Angeles live debut at a sold out, star-studded event at famed Sunset Strip venue, The Roxy.
In addition to their performative set that left the audience spellbound, guests were greeted to the venue by an artistic makeover of the outside of the building. Band member Kii Arens worked with Shepard Fairey and We Are Hear to produce a new mural, also collaborating with Shepard Fairey’s team in its painting.
At the helm of JYNX is renowned artist Kii Arens who among many things is a huge name in the art world for his poster artwork, which spans Woodstock, Coachella, Radiohead, Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder, Sonic Youth, The Who, Devo, Diana Ross, The Pixies, Tony Bennett, Bruno Mars, Tame Impala, The Beach Boys and many others. The other half of the project is Harlow Black, an otherworldly musician and actor who has had parts in American Horror Story, Westworld and more.
JYNX’ creative destiny started quickly with “I Keep The Lights On,” a non-stop dynamic dance song that has been described by Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme as “how Pop music should sound today.” Today Variety premieres the “I Keep The Lights On” video, which you can hear below.

With a plethora of private and exclusive performances throughout the world under their belt, they’re finally ready to release their art, a spectacle that will grip the world into awe.
