Kabaka Pyramid & Iba Mahr Set To Close Out Their Young Lions Tour in New York City
New York, New York (July 10, 2015). Two of reggae music’s leading young lions, Kabaka Pyramid and Iba MaHr, embarked on a month long tour, hitting the West, Mid West and East Coast of United States. The tour, which was rightfully titled ‘Young Lions Tour’ kicked off on June 11th at the World Beat Center in San Diego and is gearing up for their final show in New York City on Sunday July 12th.
For both artists this will be their first time performing in the ‘big city’ of Manhattan and to be able to perform at the historic world renown venue SOBs is a blessing.
“We look forward to making this appearance at SOBs, we always hear of the world famous SOBs and now to know that myself and Kabaka will have the opportunity to perform for our fans their is truly a blessing “ says Iba Mahr who is currently gearing up for his performance tonight in Philadelphia at Undergroud Arts.
Both artists embrace the love they are receiving on this one month tour throughout the United States and are pleased with the responses they have received from their fans each night.
“The highlight for me has been seeing people in small towns like Durano, Sebatopol, and York singing our songs word for word and giving maximum energy, which is always a blessing. Also traveling on the bus and seeing how big America really is has been a learning experience to say the least” says Kabaka Pyramid.
On Sunday July 13th Kabaka Pyramid and Iba Mahr and the Bebble Rockers will perform live at SOBs and the response so far is amazing.
“I purchased my ticket 2 weeks ago, because I refuse to be locked outside and not be able to see Iba Mahr tell me about his diamond sox and Wallabee clarks, or hear Kabaka Pyramid lyrically spit flame when he performs one of my favorite tracks King Kabaka Run Di Place”says Tarif Sherlock.
It is evident that on Sunday July 13th there will be a full house and the fans will turn out. Just make sure you are able to be apart of what will be a historical night to remember
