KATE VOEGELE AND TYLER HILTON
SUMMER ABROAD TOUR
Following multiple sell out UK headline tours, American singer songwriters Kate Voegele and Tyler Hilton will be heading back for their first joint tour in over three years.
Kate Voegele swiftly rose to fame after starring as Mia Catalano in ‘One Tree Hill’ and has since gone on to release five full-length albums. Over the course of her time on ‘One Tree Hill’ Voegele found herself performing eleven of her original songs to millions of viewers and spent the rest of her time on the road. When she was on the road Voegele played hundreds of shows around the world and toured alongside artists such as Counting Crows, John Mayer, Natasha Beddingfield and Jordin Sparks. Her role in ‘One Tree Hill’ saw record sales flourished and Voegele released her second full-length album, “A Fine Mess,” in spring of 2009 followed by 2011’s “Gravity Happens.”
Following a move to Nashville to get back to her songwriter roots, Voegele debuted “Wild Card” EP in November 2014 which debuted in the top 10 in the top pop albums chart on iTunes in the US, and received 5-star review across all distribution outlets. Kate released her live album “Live in London” in 2015 followed by her fifth full-length album “Canyonlands” in 2016. Voegele’s latest track “Shoot This Arrow” was released late 2017 so it’s expected that fans will be hearing new material on tour later this year.
When speaking of the tour Voegele expressed her enthusiasm about being back in the UK revealing that she “could not be more excited to head back to the UK and Ireland this summer! These cities are some of my favorites to play, and I love the high energy that the fans always bring to the shows. I can’t wait to play some of my new music and meet everyone!”
Meanwhile Singer/songwriter and actor, Tyler Hilton makes his return to U.K. for the first time in two years. Tyler is best known for his role as Chris Keller on the CW hit-show “One Tree Hill”, and for playing Elvis Presley in the Johnny Cash biopic, “Walk The Line.” In both notable roles, he plays a musician, indicative of his real-life musical talent.
After breaking free from the creative restraints of his record label, Tyler started up his own label Hooptie Tune Records in 2011 where he released “Forget The Storm” the following year, receiving international success and leading to several European tours. Tyler released his full-length album “Indian Summer” on Hooptie Tune in 2014 which was his first full-length release in over 4 years unleashing a new side of the artist combining multiple genres.
Today, Tyler is happy to be on the scene as an independent artist, touring the U.S., Canada and Europe, as well as working on new film and TV projects. On being back in the UK Tyler expressed “I’m so stoked to be heading back to my favourite spots in the UK and Europe this summer!! Last time I was here was one of the most fun tours of my life and that was mostly due to the crazy, funny and LOUD crowds we had! So excited to see you all again, and looking forward to meeting some new friends as well! (I even put a U in “favourite” that’s how excited I am to get back to UK!)”
