Katherine Jenkins Announces 25 Year Anniversary Tour
Friday 13th February – The biggest selling classical artist of this century, Katherine Jenkins OBE, has today announced a brand new 18-date UK tour for 2026, to celebrate her incredible 25 Years in music. The 25 Year Anniversary Tour is the first tour for Katherine in five years and is set to feature all her biggest hits including ‘Time To Say Goodbye’, the emotional ‘Jealous of the Angels’ and ‘I Will Always Love You’ and more.
The Welsh superstar Mezzo Soprano, will hit the road in October 2026, performing 18 shows across UK and Ireland, opening at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall on 2nd October and then heading to Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, the iconic London Palladium and many other cities, playing the final night at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall.
Tickets go on general sale Friday 20th February, with fans able to get first access to tour tickets from Thursday by pre-ordering Jenkins’ forthcoming studio album, to be released late 2026, from the official store here.
Speaking on what it means to celebrate 25 years, Katherine says: “Reaching twenty-five years in music is incredibly emotional, but this tour is truly a celebration of the fans who have been there from the very beginning. To be heading out across the UK and Ireland for eighteen special shows feels less like a celebration of a career and more like a reunion with old friends and I can’t wait to stand on stage, look out into those familiar faces, and share it all over again.”
Katherine Jenkins OBE is officially the world’s most successful classical singer, having been named The Biggest Selling Classical Artist of the Century by Classic FM and earning a record-breaking 14 number-one albums since signing to Universal Classics at just 22. She burst onto the music scene in 2003 with a landmark performance at Westminster Cathedral honouring Pope John Paul II, followed by appearances at major international sporting events and at the Sydney Opera House.
A favourite of the British Royal Family, Jenkins has sung at many national occasions including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee, Coronation concerts at Buckingham Palace, and her 90th birthday celebrations at Windsor Castle. She has also performed for Popes, Presidents and Princes, further establishing her place as one of the world’s most in-demand classical performers.
Alongside her musical achievements, Katherine has earned ‘National Treasure” status through her charitable work. She serves as global patron of The Wilderness Foundation, ambassador for Prince William’s TUSK Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support, and trustee of The British Forces Foundation – for whom she has performed for troops in conflict zones around the world. Awarded an OBE in 2013, she also lifted spirits during the 2020 pandemic with 25 free “lockdown live” concerts, including history-making performances at Buckingham Palace and a behind-closed-doors Royal Albert Hall concert.
A versatile creative force, Katherine has performed and recorded with many of the world’s leading artists, made her West End debut in Carousel to critical acclaim, and earned television recognition with appearances in Doctor Who, Dancing with the Stars (runner-up), and as a presenter on Songs of Praise. Her recent ventures include roles in films Minamata and Dream Horse, becoming Lady Sponsor of HMS Cardiff, launching her award-winning luxury gin brand Cygnet, and opening the inaugural SXSW London festival.

Born in South Wales, Katherine learned to sing as a chorister of St. David’s Church choir, Neath. Her love of music was well nurtured in the Welsh Valleys, where she had the opportunity to join choral groups, perform with Welsh Male Voice Choirs as well as participate in Eisteddfods and other musical events. She has always accredited her down to earth nature to her Welsh roots and her amazing family. Sadly, Katherine’s father Selwyn passed away when she was just 15 and since then his memory has been the driving force in her life. Every album, every award is dedicated to him.
Within months of graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Katherine signed the ‘biggest recording deal in UK classical music history’ and released her debut album ‘Premiere’, which became her first classical number one album. The album’s success catapulted her into the public eye and heralded the arrival of a new kind of classical star – one who could blend traditional repertoire with accessibility and glamour. Her follow-up albums, ‘Second Nature’ and ‘Living a Dream’, both topped the classical charts and brought her two consecutive Classic BRIT Awards for Album of the Year. By the age of 26, Katherine Jenkins had sold over four million albums.
Throughout the mid-2000s, Katherine’s rise was extraordinary. Her blend of operatic arias, hymns, musical theatre songs, and popular classics found audiences well beyond traditional classical circles. She performed “Abide With Me” before more than 70,000 fans at the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final, sang at the 60th Anniversary of VE Day in Trafalgar Square, and became a familiar presence at major national events, often lending her voice to moments of reflection and pride.
Katherine’s dedication to the British Armed Forces became a defining element of her career. She travelled to Iraq and Afghanistan to sing for troops stationed overseas, bringing comfort and a touch of home during the Christmas seasons. Her performances of ‘Amazing Grace’ at Live 8 Berlin and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall further cemented her reputation as a voice for hope and unity.
Her subsequent albums, including Serenade (2006), Rejoice (2007) and Sacred Arias (2008), continued her chart success and showcased a growing artistic range. Collaborations with songwriters such as Gary Barlow and producers from across genres allowed her to bring a contemporary sensibility to classical music, while remaining true to her roots. In 2008, she signed a landmark £5.8 million deal with Warner Music — the largest classical recording contract in history — and released Believe (2009), an album that featured duets with Andrea Bocelli and performances with André Rieu and Chris Botti. The record’s title reflected both a personal and artistic statement: that faith, optimism, and perseverance are at the core of her artistry.
As her international profile grew, Katherine’s career expanded into concert tours, television appearances, and humanitarian work. She has performed at the Sydney Opera House, the Dubai Opera House, the Mariinsky Theatre and the Royal Albert Hall, and has sung for His Majesty King Charles III (then Prince of Wales), Pope John Paul II, and numerous world leaders. Her ability to connect with audiences from intimate church recitals to global broadcasts, has made her one of the most recognisable classical voices of her generation.
Her artistry has continued to evolve through a wide range of collaborations, from her theatrical turn as Julie Jordan in Carousel at the English National Opera to her Christmas concerts and film performances. Her Katherine Jenkins Christmas Spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall in 2020 brought audiences together during the challenges of the pandemic, and her feature film debut in Minamata (2020), alongside Johnny Depp, showcased her versatility as a performer.
Returning to Decca Records, Katherine released Home Sweet Home (2014), followed by ‘Celebration’ (2016) – a joyful tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday, and Guiding Light (2018), an album inspired by faith, family, and gratitude. ‘Guiding Light’ topped the UK Classical Chart, making her the first classical artist in history to achieve thirteen number-one albums. In 2017, she was named by Classic FM as the best-selling classical artist of the past 25 years
In 2022, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Katherine was asked by the BBC to record the first performance of God Save the King for His Majesty King Charles III – a moment of great historical and emotional significance. Her dignified and heartfelt rendition marked a new chapter for the nation and underscored her position as one of Britain’s most trusted and beloved voices in times of national remembrance and celebration.
Earning her ‘national treasure’ status not only through her dedication to music but because of her massive charitable efforts, away from the spotlight, Katherine remains grounded in her Welsh heritage and committed to giving back. A dedicated supporter of numerous charities, she has raised significant funds for Macmillan Cancer Support (inspired by the memory of her father, who passed away when she was fifteen) and continues to use her platform to champion causes close to her heart. In recognition of her services to music and charity, she was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2014 New Year Honours.
