Kavita & Neil Simon to DJ at DAY FEVER Announce Tour
Because life’s too short to save the dancing for after dark.

Heading to Newcastle, DAY FEVER brings a vibrant, feel-good lineup with Kavita, Jimmy May and Neil Simon — three DJs guaranteed to light up the daytime dancefloor. A DAY FEVER original, Kavita has helped shape the movement from the very beginning, bringing festival-sized energy, global experience and a natural connection with any crowd. Alongside her, Jimmy May adds his own party-starting flair, keeping the vibes high and the dancefloor moving.
Completing the lineup is Neil Simon, whose journey from stage manager to DJ perfectly captures the heart of DAY FEVER. A lifelong music lover and performer, he brings passion, personality and a real connection to the crowd — even jumping on the mic when the moment calls. From driving HGVs across the North East to spreading joy on the decks, Neil embodies the spirit of DAY FEVER: community, energy and pure feel-good fun.

Launched in 2024 by actress Vicky McClure alongside Jonny Owen, Jon McClure and co., what started in Sheffield has exploded into a nationwide phenomenon. From packed dancefloors to sold-out shows across the UK, it’s clear people are craving a chance to let loose without the 3am regret.
“If you look back at the first Sheffield one to what we are now, the evolution of it is amazing,” says Vicky McClure. “It was still the same people that wanted the same thing; they just wanted to go out in the day… and just have a dance!”
Think less nightclub, more joyful chaos. “It feels like a massive house party at your nan’s,” Vicky laughs. “No drama, no egos, just people acting daft, getting dressed up, and having the best time.”
At its heart, DAY FEVER is about community, a space where everyone’s welcome to forget life’s pressures for a few hours. “It’s stories that we hear that really sum up what it’s about,” says Vicky McClure. “We’ve had people going through chemotherapy… people grieving… and all of a sudden you just feel this room filled with love.”
Each city brings its own flavour, with local DJs spinning wall-to-wall hits tailored to the crowd. And with tickets flying and new dates constantly added, 2026 is the biggest, most joy-filled year yet.
As Jon puts it: “It’s like a wedding party where everyone actually wants to be there — and that’s magic.”
