Kid Canaveral are longlisted for the 2013 Scottish Album of the Year Award, for their second full-length set Now That You Are A Dancer. Oooh ya dancer! The 72-hour popular voting window is now open – in which time members of the public can help pick one artist from the longlist of 20 to progress to the shortlist of 10. The voting window is open until midnight on Wed, May 28.
To help remind the world of everything that’s great about Kid Canaveral and Now That You Are A Dancer, today (as premiered via GoldFlakePaint) we present the superb new video for the track ‘Skeletons’ (below), directed by Richie Morgan (PLEASE SHARE!). The final single from NTYAAD, ‘Skeletons’ is set for release on Lost Map Records as a postcard download on Jun 9. Kid Canaveral will close the curtain on a hugely successful album campaign – which has included sold-out events Christmas Baubles and the Valentine’s Day Lumber Party – with an intimate show at Broadcast, Glasgow on Fri Jul 4, with special guests TBA.
