Their Record-Breaking Fifth Consecutive UK Number One Studio Album
An Incredible Seventh Career #1 For Brandon Flowers and FIRST EVER U.S. #1 ALBUM
UK TOUR – NOVEMBER 2017
** NEW DATE ADDED! LIVERPOOL ECHO ARENA, 9th NOVEMBER! **
The Killers have announced an extra date for their upcoming sold out UK tour. The band, whose new album, Wonderful Wonderful, debuted at #1 in the UK’s Official Albums Chart and gave them their first EVER U.S chart #1 upon its release last month, will play an additional show at Liverpool Echo Arena on 9th November. Tickets for the new date will go on sale this Saturday, 21st October, at 10am from www.gigsandtours.com.
The Killers’ fifth studio album and their first in five years, Wonderful Wonderful continues the Las Vegas group’s 100% unblemished record of chart topping studio albums in the U
K, with the band’s Brandon Flowers achieving a remarkable SEVENTH UK #1 album, since both of his solo albums – 2010’s Flamingo and 2015’s The Desired Effect – also topped the chart upon release.
Produced by Jacknife Lee, Wonderful Wonderful was recorded at The Killers’ own Battle Born recording studio in Las Vegas, and at Jacknife’s Los Angeles studio. The album features musical contributions from Alex Cameron, Mark Knopfler and Brian Eno, as well as a spoken word piece from Woody Harrelson.
Following the release of Wonderful Wonderful’s blistering lead single, The Man, The Killers played a surprise set at Glastonbury Festival in June, sold out their British Summer Time show in Hyde Park in record time, and conquered the European festival circuit with a crowd pleasing set of hits, before heading back stateside to headline Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Wonderful Wonderful is The Killers’ most sonically forward-thinking record yet, bursting with all of the blazing choruses and arena-pleasing anthems that make them one of the world’s biggest and most beloved rock bands.

What The Critics Say About Wonderful Wonderful.
“They’ve got their ‘groovy swagger’ back… Five years since their last LP, over 13 since their debut, The Killers have never been happy just surviving. They are still flourishing.” **** Q
“The Killers’ fifth album is their best since their hit-packed 2004 debut, Hot Fuss. A welcome depth and gravity have been added to their high-strung intensity, stemming from Flowers’s willingness openly to tackle private issues. It is an all-killer, no-filler set.” ***** The Daily Telegraph
“On the band’s first album for five years, [Brandon Flowers’] vulnerability fires their best songs in a decade. Big music, which is all the better for its more intimate, touching soul.” *** The Guardian
“Killers return to their deadliest form. With scarcely a note wasted and sky-scraping choruses to burn, the record is the band’s best in years – all glamorous guitars, starry-eyed synths and iceberg-crisp beats.” **** Metro
“As a songwriter, Flowers has never been particularly guarded about himself – but he bares more on Wonderful Wonderful than ever before, and the result is the band’s best album since 2006’s Sam’s Town.” **** NME
“Run For Cover and the driving synth rock of Tyson vs Douglas are two of their finest anthems… Wonderful Wonderful is great fun, light on its feet and well, pretty wonderful really.” **** Evening Standard
