Kula Shaker finally emerges from his silence and marks his return with a new album and a series of concerts across England and the rest of the world.

On 12 February, the band will release their fifth studio album on Strangefolk label. Entitled ‘K 2.0’, the disc of 11 tracks produced by Crispian Mills, Alonza Bevan and Duck Blackwell, and registered at State of the Ark (London) Lompret and Sound, deep in Wallonia (Belgium). The album was recorded by Alonza Bevan and Duck Blackwell, while the mix was done by the Duckpond Duck Blackwell.

Kula Shaker is best known for his album ‘K’, released in 1996, multi-platinum, and one of the albums that is the most sold in England at its output. The band quickly followed up with‘Peasants, Pigs & Astronauts’ and after six years of absence, Kula returned with the brilliant‘Strangefolk’ in 2007 and the acclaimed ‘Pilgrims Progress’ in 2010; but the history of Kula Shaker is not over yet …
