Latitude – Junior Design Awards 2016 winner

We are honoured to be named the Best Family Experience/Family Day Out by Junior Magazine readers! We’d like to thank every one of you who voted. We’re proud to be the UK’s favourite multi-arts family-friendly festival.

This year our programme offered a huge array of activities for families, kids and teenagers. The fun-packed areas provided some unforgettable moments.

The Kids Area entertained children all day and into the night with pond dipping, star gazing, fire shows, woodland crafts and science experiments.

The Enchanted Garden was a hugely popular addition to this year’s Family Campsite, particularly The Bo Nanafana Sunday Social, a Bowie tribute with a Let the Children Boogie space-themed disco.

Teenagers were in their element in The Inbetweener’s Teen Area enjoying music, media and fashion workshops and tackling survival skills in the treetops.

To top it all off, our schools programme gave teachers the opportunity to bring their students and have access to award-winning theatre, dance, music, literature and visual arts.
