Latitude missives anyone?

LatitudelogomenuWith Guitars has been trying to compile a decent festival round up, in the process of delivering something different and some things familiar. We were trying to find a good listing for this year’s Latitude, imagine our surprise to receive feedback from most of Latitude’s stages…

It’s going to be the first time I will have done 20 minutes of the cabaret elements of the new show destined for Edinburgh, so I guess it’s a bit of an exclusive!  I think it’s going to be a treat, slightly dangerous, awfully embarrassing and lots of fun but because I am yet to do my 7 day experiment yet I still don’t know for sure!

John Waters, I simply love him and it would be so cool for him to even know who the hell I am!

5 – If you have been to Latitude before what was your favourite memory, performance or special spot onsite?
Ahh yes I have been to a few, my favourite ever Latitude was the year before last… I swooped in after a gig and on my way to another, I was there for23 hours… I saw Grace Jones hula hoop her way through her set, danced my ass off to Guilty Pleasures, spilt black bean sauce all the way down my front and didn’t notice for about 30 minutes (literally a sea of sauce!) and I saw Bourgeois and Maurice for the first time… and loved them! It was like a glamorous whistle-stop tour in which I didn’t have to camp… perfect!

6 – Latitude is…
… a cosy affair, with plenty of lovely food and loads of great art….my fave festival

So that’s it then, start packing! Or hand on a couple of days and With Guitars  will very soon, I hope to have a complete as possible Latitude festival line up details, honest.
