Laura Jane Grace shares “Wearing Black”

Listen: Laura Jane Grace “Wearing Black”

Adventure Club arrives on 07/18

Laura Jane Grace in The Trauma Tropes — Laura Jane Grace (vocals/guitar), Paris Campbell Grace (vocals), Jacopo “Jack” Fokas (bass) and Orestis Lagadinos (drums) — have shared the thundering “Wearing Black”, a hook-bound and stomping ode to being the punk or goth amid the rainbows, sparkles and glitter of a massive Pride Parade.

“My pride’s a riot, it’s not a parade,” Grace sings during this anthem of acceptance, a bold and fearless song that continues to test the new right’s alleged devotion to free speech and double standard of gender constructs.

Watch the electric music video for “Wearing Black” filmed in Chicago and directed by Emily Esperanza. Pre-save Adventure Club, out 07/18.
