Today, London-based artist Lauren Auder is sharing his first official single following his recent signing to True Panther Sounds. “The Baptist,” inspired by the work of 20th Century composer Maurice Duruflé, is a powerful, orchestral pop song anchored by Lauren’s distinctively brooding vocals. The track is now available across all digital platforms.

Lauren Auder is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter born in Watford, UK and raised in the south west of France. His work in the underground French rap and experimental electronic scenes has steadily built anticipation around an official release. Over the last two years Lauren has been developing his own sound in bedroom studios across provincial France and London, adopting the ethos of classic era baroque pop to fuse elements of post-rock with modern classical, ambient and experimental electronics.
