London-based artist Lauren Auder is sharing their latest single and video, ‘june 14th’ – via True Panther and Harvest Records. ‘june 14th’ is an anthemic showcase of Auder’s rich lyricism and pop sensibilities. The single is accompanied by a Will Reid-directed visual focusing on Lauren’s intimate performance style, built on minimalistic camera work and beautiful set design that hints at Lauren’s baroque influences. In March 2020, Lauren will embark on a headlining European tour with performances in London, Berlin, Paris and more. These dates follow Lauren’s past international tours with Christine & The Queens and Amen Dunes. Lauren Auder is a singer-songwriter from Albi, a town in Southwestern France. Their songs provide a lens to themes of love, pain, and discontent. Auder’s wide range of musical influences, from pop, hip-hop, post-rock to classical music, producing music that’s akin to Scott Walker singing Lorde songs. The expansive sonic palette was first articulated on their debut EP Who Carry’s You (2018). In addition to music, Auder has had some forays into the fashion world, working for the likes of Gucci and being tapped as the face for Heidi Slimane’s debut collection for Celine in 2018.
