Lianne La Havas is overjoyed to announce that she will be part of a series of socially distanced shows to play live for fans in both South and East London. This will be the first time Lianne has been able to play her critically acclaimed new album ‘Lianne La Havas’ to fans for real, having previously given them a chance to witness a stripped back show streamed live from the Roundhouse just ahead of the album release in July. Fans are being encouraged back into live rooms for a series of intimate live performances by artists who usually play to rooms far bigger in these tentative early steps back into the live arena. It’s an exciting, rare opportunity to share in the missed magic of live performance, whilst safely complying with current government restrictions, with ticket buyers only allowed to attend with members of their own household and at a maximum of four tickets per group/’bubble’. ‘Lianne La Havas’, Lianne’s third album and her first in five years and is an album of startling beauty and insight. An exquisite, rich, and tender expression of love, loss, and rebirth that marks a new era for the British artist, it’s a collection of songs that are sure to come to life on a live stage along with some of Lianne’s best-known songs which span her ten year career. Other shows include The Staves, Jack Garratt, Bear’s Den, and James Bay with the whole series heralding an encouraging next step for a live sector which has been in a state of flux since lockdown. The shows will take place at Clapham Grand, which has already trialled some successful live shows over the past few weeks, and at the newly refurbished Hackney Church.
