Life–Share ‘I Wanna Forget’ Video Today!
An interesting new band called LIFE with there tasty ‘I Wanna Forget’. It has that dirty New York urgency of early Strokes/Ramones and could well see them on their way to legendary status too in a few short years I reckon. NME Radar picked up early saying, “LIFE are out on a quest to “make you fall in love again” through catchy guitar hooks and pop-poem lyrics. but don’t let that put you off, press play below and make your own mind up, WithGuitars are sold, but it’s up to you.
Here’s the video launched today ahead of the release of the single on Birthday Records out October 21st
Forming in late January 2013 the band have made noise fast featuring on national radio and gaining a radar feature in NME Magazine despite only having played a handful of shows around East London and in their hometown of Hull. The band consists of brothers Mez and Mick and best buds Loz and Rich (some of whom played previously in BBC6 Music favourites – The Neat). Their style is all about wild shirts, leather jackets and singing loosely about babes with an emphasis, in their own words, on the softness of cool. ‘I Wanna Forget’ the band’s debut single will be out on October 21st via Birthday Records. LIFE will stream a separate download from their site to coincide with their debut release and the band are due to record more material in the autumn with plans being made for an EP in the new year with extensive tour dates to support.
