Linch announce debut album and new single

Australian three-piece Linch are set to release their debut album on Ditto Music on the 8th of December 2014.
‘Lugubrious’ was recorded and mixed at Home Stead Studio in their hometown of Mortlake with producer Adam Rhodes and features eleven tracks including the forthcoming single and album opener ‘Nameless’ which is also released on the 8th of December 2014.

Talking their inspiration from bands such as Silverchair, Nirvana, Muse and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the band were formed a few years ago when musical siblings Tara and Justin Anderson met up with bass player Daniel Gilligan when they were all still at school. Playing support spots and headline shows over the last eighteen months or so, Linch have steadily built up a young, energetic and enthusiastic fan base with a formidable set of songs that may recall their musical heroes, but are very much their own.
Too many highlights to mention, the trio have crafted a really stunning sound that is powerful, melodic, edgy and inspiring to great effect and defies their tender years.
The Linch line up of Justin Anderson (Guitar / Vocals), Daniel Gilligan (Bass) and Tara Anderson (Keyboard) will play the Ballarat Spring Festival in Australia on the 1st of November and will announce their first UK and European dates in the very near future.
