Listen: Anamanaguchi “Miss The Rage”

Another hit cover

Anamanaguchi have graced us with another incredible cover. This time they’ve taken on Mario Judah’s ‘unofficial’ official version of the Emo Rap/Rage Beat classic (instead of Trippie Redd & Playboy Carti’s platinum record), “Miss The Rage”.

With a steady bassline and the organic texture of live drums, Anamanaguchi brings the track into the sonic territory of a blown-out Pixies record drowned in video game synths. Recorded with Dave Fridmann (MGMT, The Flaming Lips), the dynamic performance from the band, captured to tape at Tarbox Road Studios, builds a wall of rage and hope.
