New single ‘Swim’ & Debut album ‘Be Slowly’
Released September 15th via Rattlepop
UK Tour September 2014
Birmingham band JAWS have announced details of their next single release – ‘Swim’ – ahead of the highly anticipated release of their debut album ‘Be Slowly’ on September 15th via Rattlepop.
‘Swim’ sees JAWS at their most appealing – with washed out vocals over the hazy guitar lines that have long since defined the exciting young band, picking up perfectly where previous singles including ‘Think Too Much, Feel Too Little’ and ‘Be Slowly’ left off.
Premiered on Huw Stephens last night, you can listen to ‘Swim’ below
The new single is taken from the bands upcoming full-length debut album ‘Be Slowly’ which is released on the 15th September. In it’s entirety, ‘Be Slowly’ features 11 tracks and is an impressive, uniquely affecting and infectiously re-playable body of work which only further established JAWS as one of the most compelling and irresistible propositions in today’s landscape of guitar music.
The band will embark on their biggest UK headline tour to date in September to coincide with the release of the album. Kicking off in Brighton on Monday 15th, the band reach London’s Garage on the 19th, rounding it up at East Village Arts Centre, Liverpool on the 26th.
