The newest track from of Montreal’s upcoming album, Freewave Lucifer f<ck f^ck f>ck, is out now. The single’s inspiration is described by of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes as “a wet dream of Nile Rodgers that involved William Gibson, Gokudō (the extreme path), ABBA, Marie Kondo, Marc Bolan, the music video for Prince’s 1999, Leroy Horsemouth Wallace, Intercourse Dancing and internet passwords.”

The track is accompanied by a music video, animated by David Barnes, that goes hand in hand with the track with its frantic collages and surrealist imagery.
