Little Eris – ‘Wreck n Rollin’ (Released 1st May2014 on Original Human Records)
Some people use chocolate, alcohol, etc to get the similar to my alternative rock high. It may prove short lived, as multimedia skilled Little Eris releases her latest single, ‘Wreck n Rollin’ seems not ready to settle down musically. The song was ‘Wreck n Rollin’ was produced with Charlie Hoskyns and mastered by Topfloor Studios in London. It’s the second official Little Eris(aka Bronwen Davies, former vocalist and bass player with Freaky Fortnight) release through Original Human records, it’s the follow up to her 2012 wondrous synth pop debut ‘So Many Nights’.
The narrative of ‘Wreck n Rollin’ should appeal to the majority, “People Living On The Streets/They’ve Got Nothing” lyric rings out, as the ‘everything is getting better’ balloon goes up in flames in the face of reality, while we are on the rant what kind of ‘recovery’ is this? Soapbox aside the new ‘Wreck n Rollin’ song, does bounce along in good form complete with the heavier lyric and on occasion a guitar, just about scratches the itch. 7.6/10
